Dispersal order in place in Ribbleton and Grange

A dispersal order is in place in the Ribbleton and Grange areas due to incidents of violence and anti-social behaviour.

The order runs until 2am this evening (Saturday 4 January).

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: “Any persons acting in an anti-social manner, or any large groups will be issued with notices and sent home.

“Officers from Preston Neighbourhood Policing Team will be out in the area targeting those involved in this sort of behaviour.”
