The five ‘verses’ incorporate passing conversations, local news, and the rhythms of the dig, combining spoken word, movement, improvisation, field recordings, and newly composed music. A pre-performance talk with the artists, archaeologists, and musicians will also take place.
It might be particularly interesting to those with a passion for local history/archaeology, or anyone involved in new music and visual arts.
Tickets are free and can be booked via Eventbrite.
