Sol’s Fashion has opened in Preston Market Hall.

The stall is run by Salman (Sol) Ahmed, who started selling ladieswear on the outdoor market 15 years ago.

After growing the business, Sol secured a unit in the old indoor market in 2015.

Sol said: “My spot at the indoor market was a large unit and I successfully traded from there.

“During this time Christmas jumpers became a new trend and every year I stocked and sold many different designs of Christmas jumpers.

“When the indoor market closed I moved into the new food market hall and started a new business in partnership, Momoz Street Food.

“The food business has also taken off well, however I always missed the clothing business so I have started Sol’s Fashions again.

“This time I’ve extended the stall to include menswear, and it has been a good start.”
