Radio DJ Mark Radcliffe is playing a gig at Bamber Bridge FC with his folk band Radcliffe, Russell and Lee.
The gig, which will take place in the clubhouse on Sunday 8 December, was originally scheduled for November 2018, but Mark had to postpone due to undergoing treatment for cancer.
A spokesperson for Bamber Bridge FC said: “The trio will entertain the audience with an afternoon of songs and banter, in true Mark Radcliffe style.
“Mark once played at Gregson Lane, and it was there we told him what a great clubhouse we have as a non-league club, and he offered to do a gig.
“After two postponements, Mark has been true to his word to the club and has honoured his commitment to play Bamber Bridge.”
The gig is set to include original songs and stories, plus the odd cover, from Mark and fellow band members Dave Russell and Chris Lee. Local performer Ric Birtill will be supporting the trio.
Tickets are sold out and bookings for the original date have been honoured.
