An Ashton woman has expanded her successful online business with a new childrenswear boutique in Lane Ends.

Melissa Hall started Melissa Louise Children’s Boutique online two-and-a-half years ago.

Now she is also trading from her shop at 464 Blackpool Road.

Melissa, who is local to the area said: “Up until now we have been office based.

“My mum Marjorie was brought up in the Ashton area and knows the area very well. There are local schools and parks close by, and after speaking to local businesses and residents we thought Ashton would be a great place to open.

“We stock Spanish, Portuguese and traditional brands, including brands that are exclusive to the area, from birth to six years.”
