A PGA master professional is continuing to raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation through sales of his golfing book.
Former Shaw Hill and Duxbury Park pro Howard Bennett began supporting Rosemere in 2010 after attending an event for the charity at Leyland Golf Club. He donates all profits from his book Stories, Observations, Suggestions, which has recently gone into its eight re-print.
Bennett, whose pro golf career spanned more than 50 years, was also Irish National Golf Coach for 15 years and mentor to Chorley golfer Lora.

Keith McIntosh, who invited Howard to the event in 2010, said: “Howard first published hisbook in 2008. With each re-print, he has updated it so it has never been other than current and remains just as popular.
“It is no surprise given his coaching credentials in producing world famous players such as Lora, Padraig Harrington and Darren Clarke.”
Over the years, sales of the book have earned Rosemere Cancer Foundation
more than £1,500.
