General election 2019 results for Fylde

Fylde has elected its new MP and it is Mark Menzies.

Conservatives hold the seat and have a majority of 16,661 votes compared to 11,805 at the 2017 general election.

Menzies has been MP for Fylde since 2010.

The full results from the Fylde count are below:

Gina Dowding – The Green Party – 1,731 votes
Andy Higgins – Independent – 927 votes
Mark George Jewell – 3,748 Liberal Democrats – votes
Mark Andrew Menzies – 28,432 Conservatives – votes
Martin Mitchell – Labour – 11,821 votes

Turnout in the general election in Fylde was 70.04 per cent, compared to 70.5 per cent in 2017.
