Wondering how to dispose of your Christmas tree?

The Rotary Club of Longridge and North Preston is organising a Charity Christmas Tree Collection across the Ribble Valley and North Preston.

Proceeds raised will go to Preston Alzheimer’s Society, North West Air Ambulance and other Rotary charitable causes.

Trees will be collected on 11/12th January 2020.

To arrange a collection, the Rotary Club is asking for a donation towards the charities, made through their website.

A spokesperson said: “We are suggesting a minimum donation of £5 per tree but are always extremely grateful for any larger donations.”

Trees will be collected from households in Longridge, Goosnargh, Grimsargh, Cottam, Fulwood, Broughton and Ribchester.
