A ‘tap takeover’ is coming to Preston craft beer bar The Orchard.
The event will see two local breweries showcasing their beers – Chain House Brewing Co. from New Longton and Rivington Brewing Co. from Chorley.
The bar, which is situated in Preston Market Hall, will be making use of the outdoor space under the Grade II listed outdoor market canopy for the event.
A spokesperson for The Orchard said: “It’s our first tap takeover and we’re really excited for it.
“The breweries are two of the best locally, and they are both supplying micro pubs far and wide with their superb beers.
“Both brewers will be joining us to mingle. There will be a fantastic mix of craft beers and cask ale.”
The tap takeover will take place at The Orchard in Earl Street on Thursday 21 November from 6pm.
There will be live music from local artist Phil Ireland at 7pm.
