Supporters are invited to take on the three-mile dash or dawdle on Sunday December 8 in aid of the Lostock Hall hospice, helping the charity to continue providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to local people affected by life-shortening illnesses throughout Christmas and into the new year.

Emma Jacovelli, head of community engagement, said: “The sponsored Santa Dash is a fantastic fundraising event which brings our communities together to have fun, get active, and help raise vital funds for our care of local people at the hospice and in patients’ own homes.

“It was an amazing atmosphere at Preston Docks last year when we held our popular festive fun run there for the first time, and we’re really excited to be heading there again this December!

“We’re looking forward to a sea of St Catherine’s Santas coming out in force for their much-loved hospice at this special time of year.”
