The company behind the Old Docks House business centre is set to open a new hub in Winckley Square.

Wrkspace, which also runs Preston business hubs The Watermark and Enterprise Centre, has acquired Derby House this week.

The new centre at 12 Winckley Square is set to have a mixture of small and large serviced offices, plus break-out areas, meeting rooms and space for co-working. Virtual offices and hot desks will also be available.

There will be parking for tenants and their visitors, who will be greeted by front of house staff.

Regular events and networking opportunities will take place both on-site and at the other centres.

A spokesperson for Wrkspace said: “If you’ve ever visited the beautiful Old Docks House then you’ll know that Wrkspace has high standards. The 1930s art-deco masterpiece was lovingly restored to its former glory. Opened in October 2018 this beautiful building is now a bustling centre and the office suites are full to capacity.
