A Back to the Future super-fan is organising a special cinema screening of the second instalment, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release.
Ste Kershaw, who is DJ and quizmaster at The Adelphi, is putting on the screening of Back to the Future Part II at ODEON Preston on Sunday 17 November.
Ste said: “Back to the Future is my favourite collection of films, and I adore this second one.
“I’ve never seen it at the cinema, and to be honest, that’s one of the reasons I’m trying to get this out there – I want to see it on the big screen myself.
“It’s the film’s 30th anniversary this month, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to screen it.”
Ste, who has lived in Preston for nine years since coming here for university, is also keen to encourage more events in the city.
“I came for uni, and fell in love with the place. It’s my home now. I just want to see more great things here. We have some great cities nearby who seem to have lots of things going on, and Preston does have loads, but I’d love it if we had more.”
As well as the 7pm screening, there will be prizes for the best fancy dress, and other pre-screening events are on the cards.
Tickets are priced at £8.50 and are available from Our Screen.
