Ten mile tailbacks on the M6 after collision

Traffic is queuing for around ten miles on the M6 southbound after a collision between Galgate and Broughton.

Emergency services are at the scene between junction 32 and junction 33.

Highways England have closed two lanes to allow crews from North West Ambulance Service and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service to work in the road.

All injured people have now been taken to hospital and recovery of the vehicles is now underway.
