‘Substantial disruption’ as overturned lorry blocks three lanes of M6 north of Preston

Emergency services are dealing with a serious collision on the M6 between Junctions 32 and 33.

Police were called at around 2.45pm today following reports a heavy goods vehicle had overturned on the northbound carriageway. The wagon is blocking three lanes.

Preston Police said the incident will cause “substantial disruption”, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes where possible.

No serious injuries have been reported.
