Preston gridlocked as M6 closure causes traffic chaos

Main routes in and around Preston are gridlocked.
Earlier Preston Police warned of substantial disruption after a serious collision saw a wagon blocking three lanes of the M6 northbound between Junctions 32 and 33.
The warning appears to have come to fruition as motorists around the city are complaining of lengthy delays.
One motorist reported it taking an hour to travel from Walton Summit to North Road near Preston city centre.
