A unique night of performance and pizza is coming to Preston and South Ribble this Mischief Night.
Five events will be taking place during the course of Wednesday 30 October, at venues in Grange, Broadfield, Larches, Kingsfold and Avenham.
At each location, northern poets Louise Fazackerley and Matt Abbott will help to host games and play music based on each community’s stories.
A spokesperson for organisers They Eat Culture said: “We’re holding these events to celebrate work we’ve been doing on our Mobile Home project. It kick starts a programme of activity happening over the winter and culminating in April for a mass celebration.
“In each venue we’ll create an intimate friendly feel, with our funny and experienced hosts playing favourite games such as wheel of fortune and bingo, based on the community’s stories and especially designed for each area, with prizes up for grabs. Our hosts will be playing tunes that tell your story, plus there’ll be free pizza!”
The events will all be screened live at the People’s Production Lab in the city centre. From 7pm to 10pm they will be live from the PPL on BBC Radio Lancashire with presenter Garry Scott talking to the audience and playing their favourite tracks.
