A family team has opened a new custom-built dental practice in Preston.

Prestonian Richard Baines and partner Kelly Hazlehurst have opened London Road Dental Care.

The practice at 132 London Road offers general and cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening, skincare including peels and dermaplaning, dermal fillers and anti wrinkle injections.

Principle dentist Richard, who was brought up in Longridge, has worked within the NHS and private sector since qualifying. Kelly is the dental hygienist/therapist at the practice, and is also qualified in advanced facial aesthetics, dermaplaning and peels.

Kelly said: “We decided on a custom-built practice as we loved the location. It has free parking at the rear of the building and is in an area that is experiencing lots of development.

“Richard and I are both passionate about dentistry, and are really focused on the patient’s experience and making it as comfortable as possible.

“We loved the idea of creating a really amazing space that is comfortable and relaxing to put patients at ease as soon as they walk through the door.”

Phase one of the building work is complete, with phase two expected to be completed by the new year.

The practice is taking on new private patients and offers same-day emergency appointments for registered and non-registered patients.
