Police are appealing to help identify a man after a charity box was taken from Energi Trampoline Park, Preston.

The incident occurred during Friday October 18 at around 8.45pm, where it is believed a man picked up the fundraising bucket and walked out.

The box, raising money for Cash for Kids, was nearly full and contained between £200 to £300 for the charity. Police have released CCTV images from the trampoline park in Queens Shopping park to help identify the man.

Energi Trampoline said on social media: “We cannot believe this has happened while our staff were distracted on a busy Friday evening, this bucket was due to be collected by the wonderful team at Cash for Kids.

“Cash for kids are an amazing charity and help thousands of LOCAL CHILDREN every year, they are run by an incredibly dedicated and passionate team.

Energi are wanting to turn this into a positive and are appealing for people to donate on their Facebook page to try and recoup some of the money.

Police enquires have shown that the man may use the train to travel between Lancaster and Preston and it is believed that the man has connection in the Lancaster area.

If you can help identify the man, please email the police on 101 or by email to 3220@lancashire.pnn.police.uk quoting log reference 1237 on the 23rd October 2019.
