Two cafe’s are set to expand in the Market Hall following improvements to the structure.
Brew + Bake is moving to a new unit in the corner and Cherry Pie Coffee & Co will return.
The corner stalls have been enclosed at the top and will provide better insulation during the colder months.
Julie Faucet, owner of Brew + Bake, said: “The council really are trying to improve conditions for market traders. We are looking forward to a warmer winter.
“It will be great for all of us, for the staff, for the customers – we’re really excited about the move.”
On the opposite corner, Cherry Pie Coffee Co will be returning to the Market Hall.
Owner Daniel Kynaston has confirmed he plans to reopen the cafe before Christmas, now changes have been made to the unit.
