Bonfire Night 2019: Firework displays in and around Preston

There are some great firework displays happening in and around the city soon.

Take a look at the Bonfire Night events taking place below.

Friday 1 November 2019

Archbishop Temple School PTA Bonfire and Firework Display
6.30pm at Archbishop Temple School, St Vincent’s Road, Preston, PR2 8RA

The event will feature live music and there will be a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food choices. The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm and the firework display will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets for families and individuals are available to buy buy online. It’s £5 per adult/child or £17 for a family of four. There will be no tickets available to buy on the gate on the night. Under 18s must attend with an adult.

Vernon Carus Sports Club Free Firework display
6pm at Vernon Carus Sports Club, Factory Ln, Penwortham, PR1 9SN
Fireworks and Bonfire, refreshments can be bought on the night.

Freckleton Cricket Club Social Events Community Fireworks Display
6pm at Rawstone Sports Centre, 15 Green Ln W, Freckleton, PR4 1SL

This event is free of charge, and promises to be a great night for the whole village community. There will be hot food available and the bar will be open at the Rawstorne Sports Centre.

Gregson Green Community Centre Bonfire and Fireworks Display
5.30pm at Gregson Green Community Centre, Gregson Lane, PR5 0DP

There is a licensed bar, hot drinks, soup, burgers, hot dogs, chips and Bonfire Night favourites, parkin and treacle toffee. The Ghost Train also returns this year. Glitter face painting and glow goodies will be on sale.

It’s £5 per adult and £3 per child (under 3s go free).

Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant Bonfire Night – Fireworks and Hotpot Supper
5pm at Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant, Green Ln, Chipping, PR3 2TQ

Fireworks, food and fun for £27 per adult and £15 per child (aged 10 and under). The evening will start at 5pm with hot chocolate and mulled wine around the fire followed by the fireworks and a hotpot supper.

Garstang & District Lions Bonfire & Fireworks Night
7pm at High Street Car Park, Garstang, PR3 1FU

A traditional family event that is run by volunteers. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the firework display at 7.30pm

Guy’s Family Fantasy in The Sky Fireworks
7pm at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet, Canalside, St. Michael’s Rd, PR3 0RS

This free family firework extravaganza is back again this year.

Family fairground rides and attractions will be open from 12pm, and into the evening. The street food hut opens at 12pm and the firework display will be at 7pm.

Preston Grasshoppers Fireworks and Funfair Evening
6pm at Preston Grasshoppers RFC, Lightfoot Green, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, PR4 0AP

Funfair, music, food and drinks from 6pm, bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 8pm. It sells out every year so book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are £5 or £16 for a family ticket when bought in advance. Tickets on the door are £6 per person and £19 for a family ticket.

Bonfire night at Huntleys
5pm at Huntley Gate Farm, Whalley Road, PR5 0UN

Gates open at 5pm and fireworks start at 6.30pm. There will be a bonfire, rides and refreshments. Adults cost £5, children £4 (under 3s go free).

Pool House School Firework Display
5pm at Pool House School, Kidsgrove, Ingol, PR2 7BX

Fireworks will start at 5.30pm and there will be a small fire for Smores. Donations are welcomed.

Wrea Green Institute Bonfire and Firework Display
6pm at Wrea Green Institute, Station Road, PR4 2PH

Wrea Green Institute host an event for family and friends. Donations welcome.

Leyland Round Table Worden Park Bonfire Night
6pm at Worden Park, Leyland, PR25 1DJ

Leyland RoundTable are proud to announce the 49th Annual Worden Park Bonfire Night.
Tickets include access to Worden Park bonfire, fireworks, fairground, drink/food stalls and fantastic entertainment.
£3 in advance, £5 on the night, under 5’s go free.
