Work to create a cycle super-highway is underway in Penwortham

Work is underway to create a two-lane cycle super-highway as part of the Penwortham Triangle scheme.

Road works are in place at the Golden Way junction with Leyland Road, to widen the road and change the traffic priority where it joins Liverpool Road.

The work is expected to take continue until March 2020.

A two lane cycle route will be created in Liverpool Road as part of the City Deal program.
