The event, which is part of Preston’s Summer Saturdays, is a celebration of food, community and cultural diversity.

Organiser Kay Johnson from The Larder is looking for volunteer chefs and performers to help at the event.

Last year’s Feast for Peace was postponed from its summer slot due to work and family commitments, and a lack of funding. Instead the event happened in November and took on a remembrance theme to mark Armistice Day.

This year Feast for Peace will take place on Saturday 31 August.
