Preston Makers Market is returning to the city centre but is on the move again.

More than 90 artisan producers are going to be pitching up.

Pies, cheese and brunzels are going to be on offer.

The Makers Market is going to be under the Market Canopy at Starch House Square end of the Market Hall and then Outside the Box Market, under the Fish Market Canopy.

The Makers Market is during Saturday 10 August.

A spokeswoman for the Market said: “Visitors to this free event can feast on hot food from some of the best street food vendors in the North West including taste sensations Cyprus Kouzina, SAWA BBQ, Tapas Altrincham , and The Vegan Deli. Dont forget to wash it down with one of the locally produced gins, beers or rums from Riverside, Goosnargh Gin or Lucky Touch.

“You can relax and take in the atmosphere on a deck chair as Stutter and Twitch will be providing the music and of course they will have lots of records on offer for anyone looking for some retro vibes.

“With over 90 artisans showcasing you are sure to find something to enjoy. There will be a range of artists including Preston locals The Gingham Flamingo and Fieldday, crafters making candles, bath bombs and jewellery. There is even doggy surprises from Vegan Poochy Treats and Millie & Ruby to pamper any puppies they may attend this dog friendly event.”

Clarification: We were originally told by market organisers the event would be in Earl Street, we’re happy to clarify it is happening under both Market canopies instead
