Police investigation after ‘shots’ heard in Moor Nook

Investigation after sound of shots in Moor Nook

Police are investigating reports of the sound of shots being fired in Moor Nook this evening.

Uniform and forensic officers were at the junction of Pope Lane and Grizedale Crescent where a cordon was set up at around 5pm.

A Preston Police spokesperson said: “We were called at shortly after 5pm today (Monday, August 26th) to reports of the sound of shots being fired on Pope Lane in Preston.

“Officers attended and an investigation is in its early stages.

“There are no reports of any injuries.”
