A Preston restaurant owner is taking a step back from the burger joint he launched in 2017.
Mark O’Rourke has announced he has sold the majority of We Don’t Give A Fork to Josh Woodhead.
It comes as O’Rourke, who also owns Fino Tapas and Otter’s Pocket, has revealed he is planning a new Preston restaurant.
Blog Preston understands this will be a fine dining restaurant and be within the Winckley Square area of the city.
Josh has now fully taken on We Don’t Give A Fork and is planning a menu refresh.
He said: “I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge of owning my own business. Having worked at We Don’t Give A Fork since it opened I’m hoping i can keep the things that make it a popular destination for burger lovers in Preston whilst adding my own ideas to improve it.
“I would like to thank Mark for the opportunity and wish him all the best with his new venture.”

The new menu comes into place on Monday September 2 and will include the Forking Philly Cheesesteak Burger, Five Thighs and Salt and Pepper fries.
Mark said: “Josh has been talking about his own business for some time and I thought it would be a good idea for him to take We Don’t Give a fork as he knows whats going on and has literally ran it without me since the opening of Fino Tapas over a year ago.
“This works well for both of us as I can concentrate on my new project and Josh can have his own business that he already runs by himself, he is keen to get going with some changes and will now have the freedom to greatly improve the offering.”
