A band known for reinventing modern songs in a rockabilly style is coming to Preston.

Doug Perkins and The Spectaculars will bring their high energy set of 1950s-inspired songs to the Continental next month.

With music inspired by rock ‘n’ roll pioneers such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, the band’s Facebook page promises they will “get everyone in the room jumping and jiving”.
