BabyLoved Family owner and Prestonian Helen Kerray said: “I describe Perfect Preloved as all those items that have been used and loved by your family, but which still have lots of life left in them yet.

“Children, babies and families come with a lot of plastic. They also come with a lot of clothing. Between fast fashion and children growing so quickly there are many baby, child and family items underused which simply collect dust in our homes until they have sat there for too long and we have to work out how to remove them from our homes.

“There’s so much unnecessary waste going to landfill which could be recycled locally. For so many of us, we want to make changes to the way we buy and recycle our family goods and clothing. We want this to be as easy as possible to do the right thing and the responsible thing.

“Buying and selling through the BabyLoved Family Perfect Preloved marketplace is just the answer to make recycling our no longer needed items easy. It’s always packed out because of the incredibly high quality of the Perfect Preloved goods on offer, along with the quirky and cool presentation of the stalls.”

Alongside the Perfect Preloved marketplace, the events see a variety of activities and food for all the family, plus a local independent brands marketplace.

Donations of clothing, toys, household items and food are also collected at the events for the local Women’s Refuge.

The next BabyLoved Family event takes place on Saturday 14 September from 11am to 3pm at People’s Production Lab in Preston city centre. A limited number of Perfect Preloved stalls are available to hire and can be booked via the BabyLoved website.
