A little girl was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital after she fell from an upstairs window on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called to Bence Road shortly after 8pm to reports the toddler had fallen.
The little girl suffered a serious head injury but is understood to be making a recovery.
The fall is being treated as an accident.

A police spokesman said: “We were called around 8.05pm on Tuesday (August 27) to reports a child had fallen from a window at an address in Bence Road, Preston.
“Emergency services attended with the child, a three-year-old girl, found at the scene having suffered a serious head injury.
“She was taken to Manchester Children’s Hospital for treatment and is recovering.
“No arrests have been made with the incident being treated as accidental.”
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service confirmed two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended shortly before 8pm and took a patient to hospital.
