A former gay pub in Preston city centre looks set to become new social housing.
Oblivion in Grimshaw Street has seen proposals tabled by Halo Housing Association.
The pub, which is closed, is next door to a grade-II listed townhouse which is included in the scheme.
The Blackburn-based housing association has applied to convert 12-14 on the street, as well as number 16 – which is listed and dates back to the 1820s.
They want to create 12 one-bedroom apartments.

Oblivion, as well as Blowing Wild, further down Grimshaw Street, were mainstays of the city’s LGBT+ scene in the 90s and 00s.
Proposals for the scheme come just weeks after the Stoneygate Masterplan was launched.
The plan outlined how the city council wanted to see accelerated development in the area around Church Street.
