Preston’s newest Aldi is now open after pupils from Sherwood Primary School cut the red ribbon.
The children helped store manager Rob Alexander to open the store in Oliver’s Place on the morning of Thursday 1 August.
Complimentary bags of fresh fruit and vegetables were given to the first 30 customers in the queue as part of Aldi’s Get Set To Eat Fresh campaign, which hopes to inspire children to learn more about the benefits of cooking fresh, healthy food with their families.
