The new landlady of the Dog and Partridge has vowed to bring the biker spirit back to the Friargate pub.
AdvertisementBobbi Stanley took over the pumps on August 10 and is calling for regulars to bring in their memorabilia and nostalgia to be displayed on the walls.
The pub was well-known as a haven for bikers and rockers until long standing landlord Ronnie Fitzpartick retired in 2014.

Now Bobbi, a self confessed rock chick, wants to welcome back the old crowd and attract some new customers.
She said: “We have been busy booking up bands every weekend. We’re booking rock music because that is what the Dog and Partridge is known for.
“All the customers have said they would love it to be how it was, so that’s what we are aiming for.
“If the bikers want to come they can hold their meetings here, they can bring their bikes and park outside or in the yard.
“This is the D and P – it has to be the bikers bar!”
The Dog and Partridge is open from 4pm during the week and from 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
