Chinese takeaway in Ashton-on-Ribble closed due to fire

A Preston takeaway has been forced to close due to a fire.
New China on the corner of Fleetwood Street off Water Lane had a sign in its window.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said they had sent crews to the premises in Ashton-on-Ribble.
Around 4.40pm on Monday August 19 a fire involving a frying range took place.
When crews arrived from Preston and Fulwood the fire had already been put out.
One person on the premises was treated by ambulance crews for minor burns.
New China is closed until further notice.
