UPDATE: Police trace man after alleged racial abuse in Broadgate

Police have identified a man they wanted to speak to after an allegation of racial abuse in Broadgate.

A woman was racially abused and had her car damaged back in May, said police.

The woman’s vehicle was spat at and one of the windows punched when she became involved in a verbal alercation in Wolseley Road on May 16 at 1pm.

A police spokesman said: “Yesterday we appealed for information following an incident on Wolseley Rd in Preston where a woman was racially abused and threats were made to damage her car. 

“We have now received information as to the identity of the person in the picture we wanted to speak to. 

“Thank you to everyone who helped with our appeal – it really is appreciated.”
