Warning to drivers after thefts from cars in New Hall Lane

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing from cars in and around New Hall Lane.

Preston Police have launched an appeal to trace the owners of the items.

A keen-eyed member of the public spotted the men taking items from the cars near Centenary Mill and Lidl.

Police arrested the two men around the Kayley House area in New Hall Lane.

A police spokesman said: “We have recovered a number of items of stolen property and are now working to try and identify their owners.

“If you live in the area of Kayley House, New Hall Lane, please check that your vehicles are locked and secure.”
