Runners taking on the city’s parkrun had an unexpected hurdle during Saturday morning.
More than 400 runners took on the 5k around Avenham and Miller Park.
A fallen tree in Miller Park provided an obstacle for some of the runners.
The tree fell across a park bench during the middle of the race.
Volunteers cleared branches away and made safe the area.
