Teens accused of Moor Park machete fight are bailed

A group of five teenagers have been bailed after a brawl in Moor Park.

Preston Police are continuing to investigate the fight between two rival gangs of youths.

The incident saw Moor Park taped off during Friday afternoon and evening and a stop and search order issued for Deepdale and Ribbleton in response.

Police confirmed to Blog Preston the five teens, aged between 14 and 15, and all male, have been released on bail until the end of August.

They were all arrested on suspicion of affray.

A machete and other weapons were used during the fight.

Two of the boys, aged 14 and 15, were taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and in particular any dashcam footage of the fight which took place at the Deepdale Stadium end of Moor Park.
