Dancers and community groups braved the damp conditions to brighten up Preston during Saturday.
Preston Pulse was the latest event to take place on the city’s Flag Market.
Stalls selling local produce, youth groups putting on performances and live music were all part of the show.
With samba drummers beating their rhythm the city rocked to the sounds of Pulse as part of Summer Saturdays.
Michael Porter and the Preston Photographic Society were there to capture the event.
