Drugs found on cyclist in Fishwick

This is the haul that was seized when police arrested a man on a pedal cycle this morning.

Officers in Ribbleton Lane approached the 22-year-old in the early hours but he rode off as they tried to speak to him.

They chased after him and carried out a drugs search but both officers were assaulted as they tried to detain him.
