Two years ago Preston City Council rejected an application for a 55 home development at Cardwell’s Farm after objections from locals.
Barton Parish Council said the scale of the plan was inappropriate for a rural location.
But in 2018 Wainhomes resubmitted the application and it was approved.
Now the developer wants to increase the site from 55 homes to 150.
Preston City Council’s planning committee will consider the plans.
