Disorder in New Hall Lane has seen a dispersal order put in place by police.

Preston Police have triggered a Section 34 between New Hall Lane and Ribbleton Lane.

It follows an incident of disorder in the area during Tuesday evening which saw three people arrested.

A police spokesman confirmed to Blog Preston the disorder related to a group throwing stones at passing cars in New Hall Lane.

Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested, one on suspicion of criminal damage and another for public order offences.

A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of public order offences.

The order gives police the power to ask people to leave a certain area.
