Gabrieleks car window was broken and his equipment stolen

A metal detecting enthusiast has been left devastated after his equipment was stolen from his car.

Gabrielek Jamorek has used his metal detector to find ancient coins, buttons and musket balls, which he donates to local museums.

But last week, thieves targeted his car, which was parked at Preston Crematorium, and stole his Vista Smart Plus metal detector, along with two other metal detectors, five coils and two pinpointers.

He said: “Metal detecting is my life.

“The Preston area is full of musket balls, buttons, and I also found a confederate civil war Gold button.”

The theft happened overnight from July 15 to 16.

Gabrielek has offered a £200 reward to anyone who can return his equipment.

If you have any information, please contact him on his email newinkorder@gmail.com.
