Man airlifted to hospital after falling from height in Fishwick

Emergency services were called to Fishwick during Wednesday afternoon after an industrial accident.

A man had fallen from height while working in Church Avenue, off New Hall Lane.

North West Air Ambulance landed at Ribbleton Park to take the man, in his 30s, to hospital.

A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said he had ‘serious injuries’.

The incident took place at 3.18pm on Wednesday (24 July).
