An Italian kitchen and bathroom brand is opening in Preston.

Scavolini has taken a new unit in London Road.

The national chain who sell Italian home furnishings has decided to expand to the city.

Scavolini has taken on the former John Preston swimming pools site as you head up the hill into the city.

The 280 square metre showroom includes eight full kitchen displays and five full bathrooms.

One of the store’s owners Sarah Hagan told Blog Preston: “We felt that Preston is not only a city with increasing investment going forward, but also the centre of Lancashire, providing the catchment area and customer base that we were looking for.

“We felt that London Road and specifically Olympia House provided the road side presence with dedicated parking and with a very high volume of traffic that we were specifically looking for. It was also the correct size to meet our needs.”

The opening of Scavolini has created six new jobs.

The store is already open and holds its official opening event during Friday (19 July) and Saturday (20 July).
