Need support in getting back to work? Worried a loved one is getting involved with gangs? Not sure how to help a friend with mental health needs?
Residents from Ribbleton and the wider area are invited along to a community get together to speak to police, housing and other community agencies on Saturday.
The event, which takes place on the playing field of Moor Nook Community Primary School, has been organised by the local neighbourhood police team team, to offer the chance to seek advice or simply meet up with the people involved in creating safe and healthy communities.
A police spokesperson said: “If you need help getting back into work, extra support at home or concerned a loved one is associating with gangs and need advice on how best to help them, come down to the Ribbleton Community Get Together and speak to a wide range of agencies that are there to offer advice and help to the residents of Preston.
“Bring your family down or just pop in and say hi to your local officers.”
The event is from 1pm to 5pm.
