Preston’s latest Aldi will open on Thursday 1 August at the new Eastway Retail Park.

The first 30 customers through the door of the Oliver’s Place store will receive a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and vegetables.

The giveaway is part of a day of celebrations starting at 8am, with exclusive offers due to run throughout the day.

Standing at 1,254 sqm of retail space, the store will be the fourth Aldi in Preston and will be run by store manager Rob Alexander.

Customers will find large chillers and freezers dedicated to meat products, a Food to Go section at the front of the store, a fixture along the back wall showcasing Aldi’s award-winning beers, wines and spirits, and an exclusive section of health and beauty products.

Store Manager Rob Alexander said: “We can’t wait to finally open the doors to the new store in Oliver’s Place. The team and I have been working really hard behind the scenes and the store is looking fantastic.

“We’re looking forward to meeting our new customers as we celebrate the opening of Aldi’s fourth store in Preston and sharing even more of Aldi’s everyday amazing products with the community.”

The new store will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
