CCTV footage from a Ring doorbell camera has been released after suspicious activity in Ribbleton.

Preston Police have issued the footage which shows a man interfering with a car.

The footage was taken in Sion Close on Friday 24 May around 2.30am.

A man is seen trying car door handles and police say on one occasion climbed into a vehicle although nothing was then taken.

A police spokesman said: “We are asking for your help in trying to identify the person responsible so we can progress with the investigations by watching the footage.”
