Hundreds attended the event despite struggling to get to the venue due to a traffic jam.
Cars were parked on the road leading up to the tower with people deciding to make the rest of the journey in on foot, in order to get there quicker.
Porsches, Ferraris, McLarens, Lamborghinis (and more!), filled the tower grounds, while speed supporters were able to take photographs and even sit inside a few of the vehicles.
The atmosphere was fantastic due to a live band and many food stalls operating on the day.
Children’s favourites Captain America, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and were on hand to pose for photos.
The auction also drew in a big crowd with fantastic prizes that included: a Rolls-Royce chauffeur driven shopping experience in central London, a short break at Ribby Hall Village and a private dining experience at a Michelin starred restaurant.
All the money raised was in aid of Derian House, children’s hospice.
Visitors were also able to book a tour of the tower and the gardens as Houghton tower remained fully operational.
The event seems to get more popular every year.
A great day out with the family especially with children entering free and adults at just £5.
