Hundreds of shoppers turned up to St George’s Shopping Centre at the weekend to meet special guests Wallace and Gromit.

The iconic duo visited Preston on Saturday 1 June as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations.

Centre manager Andrew Stringer said: “We are delighted with the response to our recent Wallace and Gromit visit.

“The pair are British TV icons and we are absolutely thrilled to have welcomed them into Preston, where their creator Nick Park hails from.

“We’ve had some incredible feedback from our shoppers and it’s clear that everyone who came down to meet the duo made a grand day of it.”
