A podcast dedicated to all things Preston has launched.

The P-Town podcast is hosted by Shane Davis and Carl Barnes – both Preston natives.

During the series they are planning to explore the people who make the city what it is.

First episode ‘Coming Home’ describes where Carl and Shane have lived, and how the allure of the city drew them both back.

Carl said: “We wanted to create a podcast that gets under the skin of the city and tells you about those people who make the city great.

“I think Preston is often under-rated and I want P-Town podcast to celebrate everything about Preston.”

In the first episode Carl recounts his night at the Tokyo Jo’s reunion night, and his very sore head afterwards.

The pair also discuss the city’s beer scene and how it is rapidly expanding.
