The latest Preston InstaMeet went for a look at new artwork outside the city’s grade-II listed Bus Station.
Artists Low Profile have put in large red letters stating PEOPLE on the western side of the building.
It is a temporary art installation.
Instagrammers took the chance to snap the wording and also take pictures inside and outside the Bus Station.
InstaMeets give city photographers, both pro and amateur, the opportunity to see inside buildings sometimes off-limits and also get first-looks at new things in the city.
The artwork marks the start of exhibitions and celebrations to mark 50 years of the Bus Station since it was built in 1969.
Beautiful and Brutal: 50 years in the life of Preston Bus Station will be on the Harris in the coming months.
Paul Melling was among those there taking pictures, and here’s some of the snaps posted on #igerspreston on Instagram.
And there was access inside the Bus Station
And plenty of access outside for a different perspective
What’s the collective noun for a group of Instagrammers?
